Tasks and services of the chamber :-

• Authorization of documents such as guarantees , Jordanian passports, membership certificates and other papers
• Make economical and social meetings
• Issuance certificates of origin for local products , like olives oil , olives, cheese, honey , plants
• Facilitate the issuance of permits for merchants to inter Israel
• provide merchants with information about international and local fairs and markets
• make courses for merchants and industrial institutions
• solve problems and put solutions for merchants with taxes departments specially VAT and income taxes
• following up with responsible departments the problems resulted from continuous invasion and closure .
• Facilitate new companies to start export and import
• Support commercial and industrial interprises
• Co- ordinate interests of private sectors and defend them in their affairs such as taxes , import , export

                  

          The total number of members until 31/10/2004 is (1505) , including (190) new participants , (1015) paying fees , (490) not paying fees, also (90) delayed files and (227) incomplete files, distributed            according to degree and economical sector as follows :
