The Chamber E stablishment 

      Qalqilia chamber of commerce was established in 1972 as a national institution that facilitates issuance of services depending on Jordanian law for chambers that includes " the elections of board of directors in an democratic way each four years " .
    Mr. OMAR Y. SHAWAR was elected as the first chairman , in addition to eight members, but as of the Israeli procedures the elections were delayed until 1992 , this affect the chamber rule in economic life .
   Since the moment of  establishment the chamber hold the responsibility and began improving the situation of farmers , merchants, and factory owners , it carried out many projects to develope the local economy despite of the israeli obstacles .
   The efforts of the chambers can not be denied on all levels as it could transfer Qalqilia into an independent District, and this step was followed by opening all the official departments in the city .
